The Writing Ritual
Each gathering is guided and largely held in silence.
Participants are invited to write a letter to someone they have lost through death, separation, distance, or an unfinished relationship.
The experience includes a brief opening reflection, gentle writing prompts, time for stillness, and space to write at your own pace.
There is no discussion, no required sharing, and no expectation to finish your letter.

Emotion is welcome here. You are free to write, pause, breathe, or step outside briefly if needed. Nothing is required of you except your own presence.
Some people attend within weeks of a loss. Others come years … even decades later. Time is what is right for you. If, however, you are experiencing acute emotional distress or are in need of immediate therapeutic support, this gathering may not be the right place at this moment.
That is welcome here. Loss takes many forms, and not all of them are visible or named. If this invitation resonates with you, you are welcome here.
Your letter is yours to keep. At the close of the gathering, you will take it home with you. What you choose to do with it afterward is entirely your own.
